MINNEAPOLIS (Sept. 23, 2025) – Each year, the Texas Health Care Association’s (THCA) Outstanding Assisted Living Manager of the Year Award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated a high level of professionalism and care for their community, its residents, and team members. We’re proud to announce that Megan Burch, executive director at Kruse Village in Brenham, Texas, has been presented with this award from THCA at their 75th Diamond Anniversary Convention & Trade Show. Kruse Village is managed by Health Dimensions Group® (HDG®), a leading senior living, post-acute, and long-term care consulting and management firm based in Minneapolis, MN.
“Thank you so much to the Texas Health Care Association for this honor, I greatly appreciate it,” Burch said. “My team at Kruse Village and I are devoted to providing residents and families with an enriched senior living experience. I could not do what I do without their skills and support, and I am thankful to have the opportunity to help our residents confidently live their best lives.”

For more than three years, Burch has proudly been the face of aging services at Kruse Village, having served in multiple roles through the years.
Burch’s genuine care and attentive listening to everyone at Kruse Village—residents, family members, and team members alike—sets her apart as an exceptional leader.
“Whether it’s administering hands-on nursing care as a licensed RN, stepping in to run resident activities, helping with dietary services, stocking supplies, or performing housekeeping duties—Megan is never above any task,” Jesse Cowan, regional director of operations at Health Dimensions Group said. “Her presence in the community is constant and deeply felt. Residents know her by name, and they know they are valued and seen. Team members look to her for guidance and strength, not just because of her title, but because she earns their trust daily through action and integrity. I cannot imagine a more deserving recipient for the Assisted Living Administrator of the Year Award.”
Under Megan’s leadership, Kruse Village has received numerous awards and recognitions, including a National Quality Award from AHCA/NCAL and a Reader’s Choice Award from the Brenham Banner-Press. Join us in congratulating Megan for her well-deserved recognition.
