"'I wish I had known about this place and had moved in sooner.' This is a phrase heard from many newcomers to Kruse Village. After being at Kruse Village for 2 or 3 months, one realizes that they should have been here years earlier. My name is Jack and I have been a Kruse Village resident for 5 years. My wife, Corinne, and I have been so pleased to be here. We live in a very nice duplex that meets our needs perfectly. All our maintenance and lawn care are taken care of. Speaking of lawn care, our campus leaves nothing to be desired. Large oak and pine trees provide shade and wild life. There are lots of squirrels and birds. One doesn't worry about being bored here. Our highly qualified activity personal always come up with new and exciting things to do. The activities offered are to numerous to list, but I'll name a few. Start the day with senior-friendly exercise then go for a ride in the country on one of our vans with a stop for lunch somewhere along the way. In the afternoon, card and domino games abound. If you are a movie person, enjoy the latest cinemas in our movie room. Happy hour and ice cream socials happen very often. My favorite place is the well-equipped woodworking shop. For your quiet time, there is a very well stocked library. This is really a "see for yourself" place. The friendly and efficient staff is always ready and able to assist anyone in need."
“In March of 2019, we moved from a house in Brenham, Texas, to a cottage in Kruse Village. We have been very happy with the facility and the size and the floor plan of our new home. Also, we have been pleased with the quick and efficient maintenance. There are numerous activities and programs to suite our needs and interests. The residents are friendly and inclusive. We still keep-up with our friends, church, and other activities in Brenham.”
