Quite simply, Kruse Village offers the area’s most comprehensive array of senior living options. We’re Washington County’s only CCRC (continuing care retirement community). That means Kruse Village residents and family members can rest assured, knowing that should the need arise residents can easily transition from independent living, to assisted living, memory care or skilled nursing; all in the same, reassuring environment with familiar friends and staff.
Independent Senior Living – Cottages
Kruse Village’s Cottage Duplex-Homes are Brenham’s most spacious independent senior living options for active seniors. Each home is ideally-located in our tree-lined neighborhood, surrounded by lush landscaping, nearby gazebos and serene walking paths. Inside, residents enjoy an abundance of sunlight and an array of features specifically designed for seniors.
Independent Senior Living – Apartments
For active adults who wish to be closer to amenities and don’t require the space of our larger Cottage Duplex-Homes, Kruse Village offers our popular Active Senior Living Apartments. Residents appreciate that our apartments do not require a down payment, but are instead rentals – with rent, utilities and all services listed below in a single, reasonable monthly fee.
Assisted Living
We specifically designed our Assisted Living in a more intimate fashion than Kruse Village’s Independent Living offerings. The result is a comfortable community limited to 30 residents. That smaller approach encourages easier bonding with staff and other residents, resulting in a tight-knit, caring family.
Memory Care
Kruse Village’s is Brenham’s only dedicated Memory Support community. Our memory care facilities are near and dear to our hearts as we understand the unique challenges endured by memory care residents and their families. We are honored to care for your loved ones and return that trust with truly compassionate care by a team of experts who focus specifically on your loved ones’ special needs.
24-Hour Skilled Nursing
Recently earning the Brenham Banner-Press’ Readers’ Choice award for Favorite Nursing Home, Kruse Village’s skilled nursing is truly in a class of its own.
Our dedicated and highly-professional team members deliver care with warmth and genuine love for what they do and whom they serve. That compassion is evident throughout care, including regularly scheduled activities and health & wellness programs.
Rehabilitation
While Kruse Village is known across Texas for our excellence in care for seniors, our Rehabilitation services are for all ages. Patients recovering from sports or workplace injuries, surgery, joint replacement or other procedures enjoy the comradery of other patients as they work with our professional staff to achieve recovery that gets them back home and back to their normal life as quickly as possible.
